Samuel Leonard launched the company in 1880, starting a history of successful service to the Detroit area business community. In the beginning, the family business was a “horse & buggy” hauling company. We hauled gravel, construction supplies, and other freight that provided support to the development of the infrastructure of Detroit.

By 1915, the company evolved into a furniture moving and storage company. It was in the 1970’s where the demand for document storage was realized. Due to this increasing demand for document storage, Leonard Bros. Data Management Inc. was formed in 1987. Today, Leonard Bros. has evolved into a premier provider of document storage and data management solutions.
